GPS 9520 Module Sirf Star I

NOVA ETS GPS solutions GPS-9520from Taiwan is a small and powerful module most suitable to a range of applications. The 12-channel architecture permits simultaneous tracking of every possible satellite in view. The high sensitivity and dynamic range reception makes it possible to use GPS-9520 based products in inhospitable areas. The GPS-9520 provides dual serial ports for navigation and control messages. One serial port uses either the NMEA-0183 standard data message or the proprietary SiRF's binary data protocol to provide maximum data and control over the GPS receiver.

The second port receives the RTCM SC-104 format Differential GPS corrections for more precise positioning. With its compact size (1.6" by 2.8" or about two-thirds the size of a business card) the GPS-9520 is suited for most embedded applications and is mechanically "backwards" compatible with Rockwell's Jupiter. All the above critical features make GPS-9520 the best GPS board level receiver on the market.
